MY WORK HISTORY
I have spent my career sailing as a licensed engineer on board several container vessels, cruise vessels and a private research vessels, most recently serving as second engineer aboard the research vessel Falkor.
Currently I am a consulting engineer for Schmidt Ocean Institute assisting with preparation for shipyard and alongside maintenance periods for the Falkor. This work includes setting up the technical side of ship operation software, providing engineering technical assistance, and preparing for major shipyard periods.
My long-term focus is working toward marine technologies in propulsion and operations that save resources and minimize environmental impact.
WHAT I CAN OFFER
My experience on different types of vessels allows me to understand quickly ship’s systems and machinery so that I can assess solutions to existing problems.
